Marketing People, Places and Potential Throughout Spain
Andrea moved to the Costa Blanca from the UK a little over a year ago and has been involved in the entertainment industry for well over 15 years. She was on the ‘gig’ circuit in England as a solo artiste and also worked with a Band named Small Mercy.
The two shows I saw were very good and the sound was excellently controlled by her fiancé, Rick.
If you like Madonna’s early stuff then you will love this likewise if you are into female artistes of the 60’s 70’s & 80’s then the Just a Girl show is for you.
ANDREA McCORMACK
MADONNA TRIBUTE & JUST A GIRL SHOW
For this week’s Benidorm Focus I went twice to see Andrea McCormack perform two separate shows. The venue on both occasions was Tiara’s Show Bar situated on Calle San Vincente in the heart of Benidorm’s Old Town. The first show I witnessed was the ‘Just a Girl’ show where Andrea sang hits from many of the female artists who have topped the charts over past 40 years or so including Dusty Springfield and Petula Clark. My second visit was to see the Madonna tribute act which lasts just over one hour and includes no fewer that three costume changes. Most of the songs performed where taken from the ‘Like a Virgin’ and ‘Blonde Ambition’ tours. I thought Andrea put a lot into the shows and was well received by the packed crowd. The costumes she wore were very authentic and it was obvious she had took the time and expense to get every little detail spot on.
You can see Andrea’s show at the following venues:
Friday at 21.00 – Marina Bar, La Cala
Saturday at 22.30 – Heroes Cabaret Bar, La Cala
Monday at 21.00 – Marina Bar, La Cala
Thursday at 22.15 – Tiara’s Shoiw Bar, Benidorm Old Town
