This is a resume of the Up-close and Personal Interview with Ricky Lea conducted by our man on the scene Denny.

Ricky then went solo working in Lanzarote for 6 months then found his way to Benidorm.

His first year in Benidorm proved successful appearing exclusive at the Wheeltappers and Shunters   in tributes and the Rocky Horror Show.

He then decided to return to his solo career and revived his ‘famous’ “Robbie Williams Tribute Show” popular in Benidorm and various other locations in Spain for the past 3 years.  Ricky also varies this with Frankie Vallie hits and present day chart songs.

No stranger to show-business his family have entertained for over 50 years, granddad, father, uncles, sisters, brothers in fact they are known affectionately as the Von Trap Family.

Ricky recently performed during the winter in the North East of England to sell out audiences getting rave reviews from the local media.

What came across to me when I saw him perform recently was sheer professionalism, a super personality and a great voice. With all of these Ricky can only go from strength to strength.

Ricky Lea - Born in Leeds he started his career in Blackpool, forming his first duo called ‘Smooth Criminals’ appearing on Michael Barrymore’s ‘My Kind Of People’ followed by the TV game-show ‘My Kind of Music’
