Junior Tuatara - The Mad Maori

He was a member of the famous ‘Maori Hi Quinns’ top New Zealand Show Band. He arrived in London in the early 60‘s, and starred in the Walt Disney movie Search of the Castaways’. His engagements World Wide engagements include London Palladium Pigalle, 6 months performing at Stardust Hotel, Las Vegas, Pase Poga Madrid, Maxims Lisbon, U.S Bases, Chevron Hilton, Surfers Paradise Chequers, Sidney Sutt Millars, Dayton Ohio, Royal York Toronto, Gruna Lund. Stockholm, Broadway and Waldolf Astoria New York and every major venue in the UK.

He was presented to Her Majesty the Queen during Blackpool’s Jubilee Year in 1994, for services to charity. He spent 17 years on Blackpool’s North Pier entertaining millions of holiday makers. He has now decided to slow down and enjoy the Benidorm sunshine, entertaining his many fans. Junior never uses bad language in his show, and he plays the guitar, drum and piano.

Carlo Paul Santanna - Born in the UK of Italian mother and Polish father. Carlo’s parents came to the UK after the Second World War. In his early years Carlo spent most of his childhood in Polish camps and could only speak Italian and Polish. He is also an established songwriter. The photograph below with the Queen Mum was taken when Carlo was a member of the pop group Paper Lace’ at a Royal Command Performance.
